Over time, as the virus morphed and continued to disrupt our daily lives, people around the world grew tired of COVID restrictions. As a result, we saw mask mandates\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/legal\/government\/us-judge-rules-mask-mandate-transport-unlawful-overturning-biden-effort-2022-04-18\/\" target=\"_blank\">lift<\/a>, social distancing practices fade, and vaccination rates\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/covid.cdc.gov\/covid-data-tracker\/#vaccinations_vacc-people-onedose-pop-5yr\" target=\"_blank\">decline <\/a>as more shots became available. Understandably, people were &#8212; and still are &#8212; longing for pre-pandemic normalcy.
