It always has been. My wife, Susan, and I usually eat meals I prepare using little to no prepackaged ingredients. Dinner usually included wine for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what I can eat and drink changed on July 10, 2021, the day I received my&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pulmonaryfibrosisnews.com\/pulmonary-fibrosis-lung-transplant\">bilateral lung transplant<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It was not a surprise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When I was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pulmonaryfibrosisnews.com\/pulmonary-fibrosis-diagnosis\/\">diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis<\/a>\u00a0in January 2017, we entered a world that was new to us. We wanted to better understand this disease, so we sought to learn as much as possible.
