The revised policy reflected the need to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1111\/ajt.13030\">reassess<\/a>\u00a0prioritization of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/emedicine.medscape.com\/article\/429816-overview\">heart transplantation<\/a>\u00a0candidates and eliminate geographic disparities in access.
